PMKVY

Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) is the flagship scheme of the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE). The objective of this Skill Certification Scheme is to enable a large number of Indian youth to take up industry-relevant skill training that will help them in securing a better livelihood. Individuals with prior learning experience or skills will also be assessed and certified under Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).
 
Rajadhani Institute of Engineering & Technology, a prestigious institution in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala is a Training Centre for the PMKVY courses. These courses are conducted utilizing the modern Labs and workshops with most modern equipment. Many school/college drop outs attended the courses and most of them are employed. RIET has got sanction for running two courses under PMKVY –TI for the academic year 2016-17 (1) Welding Technician Level 3 Automotive Sector Plumber General II [Plumbing Sector] RIET has successfully completed the courses with 100% result.
 
In 2017 -18 RIET got sanctioned for more courses (1) CCTV Technician (2) House Keeping Trainee (3) Trainee Chef (4) Plumber General (5) Helper Electrician (6) Food & Beverage Service Trainee. Assessment for CCTV Technician, Plumber General & Helper Electrician is completed and achieved 100 % result for all the courses.
 
In Academic year 2018-19 the following courses are undergoing (1) CCTV Technician (2) Helper Electrician (3) Plumber General (4) House Keeping Attendant (5) Domestic Data Entry operator (6) Tour vehicle operator
