1. CENTRAL SECTOR SCHEME OF SCHOLARSHIPS FOR COLLEGE AND UNIVERSITY STUDENTS
ELIGIBILITY
Students who are above 80th percentile of successful candidates in the relevant stream from the respective Board of Examination in Class XII of 10+2 pattern or equivalent and pursuing regular courses (not correspondence or distance mode) in Colleges/Institutions recognized by All India Council of Technical Education, UGC Act, 1956, Medical Council of India, Dental Council of India and respective regulatory authorities and not availing benefit of any other scholarship scheme including State run scholarship schemes/Fee waiver and -2- reimbursement scheme are eligible under the scheme. Students pursuing Diploma courses are not eligible under the scheme.
RATE OF SCHOLARSHIPS
The rate of scholarship is Rs.12000/- per annum at Graduation level for first three years of College and University courses and Rs.20000/- per annum at Post Graduation level. Students pursuing professional courses, in case, where the duration of course is five (5) years/Integrated course would get Rs.20000/- per annum in the 4th and 5th year. However, students pursuing technical courses such as B.Tech., B.Engg will get scholarship up to graduation level only i.e. Rs. 12,000 p.a. for 1st, 2nd and 3rd year and Rs. 20,000 in the 4th year
PARENTAL INCOME CEILING
Students with gross parental/family income up to Rs. 4.5 lakh per annum are eligible for scholarship under the scheme. Income certificate will be required only for the fresh applicants

2. PRIME MINISTER’S SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME FOR WARDS OF STATES/UTs POLICE PERSONNEL MARTYRED DURING TERROR/NAXAL ATTACKS
Eligibility
- A) For CAPFs & Assam Rifles:-
- I) Wards/widows of deceased CAPFs & AR personnel died in harness/election duty, wards of personnel disabled due to causes attributable to Government service and Wards of Ex-CAPFs & AR personnel in receipt of Gallantry Awards.
- II) Wards/widows of retired and serving CAPFs & AR Personnel. (Personnel below Officer Rank)
III) Pursuing first professional degree programme in the field of Engineering, Medicine, Dental, Veterinary, BBA, BCA, B. Pharma, B.SC (Nursing, Agriculture, etc.), MBA and MCA etc. in accordance with the guidelines as mentioned in Para- 8 (B).
- IV) Having minimum 60% marks in Minimum Entry Qualification (MEQ) i.e. 10+2/Diploma/Graduation or equivalent in case of new applicant. Or For applicants applying under renewal category, it is mandatory to pass the each subsequent academic year of the professional courses being pursued by them with minimum 50% marks.
- V) A grace period of one year only for cases, where there is a delay on part of candidate for submission of application for renewal of scholarship may be entertained.
- B) For State Police Forces.
Dependent wards of State Police Personnel who are martyred during Terror/ Naxal attacks are eligible under this category subject to the following:-

- Pursuing first professional degree programme in the field of Engineering, Medicine, Dental, Veterinary, BBA, BCA, B. Pharma, B.SC (Nursing, Agriculture, etc.), MBA and MCA etc. in accordance with the guidelines as mentioned in Para- 8 (B).
- Having minimum 60% marks in Minimum Entry Qualification (MEQ) i.e. 10+2/Diploma/Graduation or equivalent in case of new applicant. Or For applicants applying under renewal category, it is mandatory to pass the each subsequent academic year of the professional courses being pursued by them with minimum 50% marks.

Amount of Scholarship
- Rs. 3000/-per month for girls. To be paid annually after selection.
- Rs. 2500/- per month for boys @ Rs 36,000/-to each girl & Rs 30,000/- to each boy

- National Fellowship and Scholarship for Higher Education of ST Students – Scholarship (Formally Top Class Education for Schedule Tribe Students) – only for scholarships

- C H MUHAMMEDKOYA SCHOLARSHIP
Eligibility: should belong to Muslim, Latin and Converted Christian Community and should be a native of Kerala. Should be a girl student studying for the first year graduation or higher courses. - PRAGATI SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME FOR GIRL STUDENTS ( TECHNICAL DEGREE)
ELIGIBILITY FOR SCHOLARSHIP:
- The girl candidate should be admitted to First year of Degree level course

Second year of Degree level course through lateral entry in any of the AICTE approved Institution of respective year.
2) Maximum two girl child per family are eligible.
3) Family income from all sources should not be more than Rs. 8 lakh per annum during the current financial year. A valid income certificate issued by State/ UT Government need to be enclosed.
AMOUNT OF SCHOLARSHIP:
1) Rs. 50,000/- per annum for every year of study i.e. maximum 4 years for first year admitted students and maximum 3 years for second year admitted students through lateral entry as lump sum amount towards payment of college fee, purchase of computer, stationeries, books, equipments, softwares etc. No other additional grant will be payable in lieu of hostel charges and medical charges etc.
2) No documentary proof need to be attached for the above while availing benefits.

9.PRIME MINISTER’S SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME (PMSS)
The ‘Prime Minister’s Scholarship Scheme (PMSS)’ ’ is being implemented to encourage technical and post-graduate education for the widows and wards of the deceased/ex-service personnel of Armed Forces, Para Military Forces and Railway Protection Force. The scheme is funded out of National Defence Fund administered by Prime Minister’s Office. Scholarships are available for education at various technical institutions (medical, dental, veterinary, engineering, MBA, MCA and other equivalent technical institutions having AICTE/UGC approval).
The amount of scholarships was Rs.2,000/- for boys and Rs.2,250/- for the girls per month and is paid annually. This has now been increased to Rs.2,500/- per month for boys and Rs.3,000/- per month for girls w.e.f. FY 2019-20

These merit scholarships for Engineering students are supported by the Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) and targets meritorious students from
economically backward sections of society.

11. SAKSHAM SCHOLARSHIP
This is a AICTE scholarship for engineering students provided by central government. Contingency is awarded to differently abled students taking admission in AICTE approved Technical institution at Degree/ Diploma.
Amount – INR 30000 as tuition fee reimbursement and INR 20000 as incidentals each year.

12. EGRANTZ
ELIGIBILITY:
Students pursuing post-matric courses approved by the university / board
Students admitted under merit and reservation quota
Scheduled Castes and other eligible Communities:
Lumpsum grant, Monthly stipend (day scholars) ABLC + Pocket Money (hostellers) Reimbursement of Tuition Fee, Special fee and examination fee in full without income limit.
- Students who belong to the categories of Scheduled castes, other eligible communities, OBCs and other communities who are socially and economically backward including forward castes
- Students whose attendance is not below 75% at the end of each month
- Professional courses Lumpsum grant, monthly stipend , Reimbursement of tuition fee, special fee and exam subject to income limit.

1. Fee is sanctioned once in an Academic year and paid to students’s Account.

- AICTE Tuition Fee Waiver (TFW) Scheme
The Waiver is limited to the tuition fee as approved by the State Level fee Committee for self-financing Institutions and by the Government for the Government and Government Aided Institutions. All other Fee except tuition fees will have to be paid by the beneficiary.
Students whose parent’s income is less than Rs. 6 lakh/annum are eligible for Tution Fee Waiver Scheme. The TFW scheme will available in all the AICTE recognised colleges and where no other scholarship is offered to the students

15. ONGC Scholarship to Meritorious General Category students scheme
ONGC scholarship scheme for meritorious belonging to General category is an exclusive scholarship opportunity for students belonging to the marginalized sections of the society who are studying in the first year of Engineering, MBA or programme.

Financial Assistance for Education

- FEDERATION FOR ACDEMIC EXCELLENCE AND ACCESS (FAEA) SCHOLARSHIP
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants should be an Indian and a permanent resident of India.
- Should have passed Class XII examination from a recognized Indian Board.
- The final selection will, however, be subject to the student securing certain minimum scores in Class XII examinations and interview results.
- Meet the necessary language proficiency requirements of the host institution
- Students who have passed Class XII from a recognized Board of Secondary Education in India or 1st year under-graduate students on roll

- NORKA ROOTS DIRECTORS SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME
NORKA Roots invites application for Pravasi Scholarship Scheme for children of NRKs belong to ECR category having worked or working as Unskilled Labours, House Drivers and House Maids abroad. The annual Income of Returnee Migrant (NRK) should be less than Rs. 1.5 Lakh. The Scholarship shall be availed for maximum two children of NRK. The Scholarship is granted on the basis of the Percentage of Marks scored or Grade obtained in the Qualifying Examination. For applying Pravasi Scholarship in Post Graduate Courses in Science, Minimum 75% marks and for Courses in Arts Subjects, Minimum 60% marks has to be secured in the Qualifying Exam.
