Standards Club

The Standards Club of RIET held its inaugural ceremony and Awareness Program on Legal Metrology and Career Opportunities on October 25, 2024, at the Lobby Seminar Hall. Dr. Suresh S Babu, Principal of RIET, delivered the presidential address, highlighting the club’s role in advancing knowledge and ethical practices in metrology. The Chief Guest, Abdul Hafees M, Deputy Controller (HQ) from the Department of Legal Metrology, then inaugurated the club and spoke on regulatory frameworks and career prospects in the field. An expert talk by Inspector Shajahan A provided further insights into opportunities within legal metrology.

The Standards Club at Rajadhani Institute of Engineering and Technology (RIET), in association with the Rajadhani Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Cell (RIEDC), stands as a beacon of excellence in promoting quality and standardization among students. Established in collaboration with the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), the Club aims to cultivate a culture of quality consciousness, innovation, and scientific inquiry in the academic community.
